Learn the story of Australia’s iconic eucalyptus industry through historical artefacts, photographs, interactive demonstrations and multi-media displays.

A highlight is the working model distillery where you can witness eucalyptus leaves being made into ‘liquid gold’.   Sniff test different grades of oil – can you tell the difference?

Outside, a walking tour of the historic Old Jones’ Distillery is like stepping back in time, to an era of back-breaking physical labour and Aussie ingenuity.

The ‘Eucy Museum’ as it’s affectionately known, is worth a visit for the coffee alone.  It boasts a café with free Wi Fi selling homemade cakes, Devonshire tea, barista coffee and light lunch options, with cosy indoor seating or relaxed outdoor dining under the shade sails.

There’s a swing set and barbecue, toilet facilities and a gift shop selling a huge range of natural eucalyptus-based products.
